About Us

Hi everyone, I am Vishnupriya or VP ( as friends and family often call me)

Unlock Nature is for my Mom and her Gardens. 

Growing up, I thought I was the luckiest kid alive. My Father moved around the country and I spent the early years of my childhood mostly in the north eastern states, and lived amidst a sea of greenery around us.

Gardening has always been my Parents domain . While growing up I did not learn much gardening from them and only enjoyed the fruits of their labour.

It is only after I moved to city life and especially after having faced a pandemic, I realised that when we are close to nature, we are affected on different levels.

Our Heading

We are Physically rejuvenated, mentally clear & Experience reduced anxiety levels.

In a world that’s increasingly becoming more virtual, Plants are our Friends and Companions. 

We have to be grateful and privileged💚  to be able to call this Planet Earth as our Home. 

Unlock Nature is a small Plant Parent and Plant Homes community that I am trying to build to help people get in touch with their natural surroundings via houseplants and indoor plants in whatever little ways they can.
