Calatheas are commonly known as Prayer Plants, because their leaves fold together at night, like praying hands. These wonderful houseplants with their round leaves in green and silver patterns can instantly steal your heart. They can survive low light conditions as well but prefer bright indirect light corners of the house. Calatheas are well known for their air-purifying properties.
